Cary Nourie has directly or indirectly been commercializing technology-based companies for the last twenty years. Starting in Asia, Cary founded two technology-based companies which he spun-out from the Thailand-based Asian Institute of Technology. The following six years were spent as the technology advisor to the Governor of North Carolina and the North Carolina Board of Science and Technology.

Before joining the KBA Cary worked in Chicago as Vice President of the Illinois Technology Development Alliance one of the most respected technology-based economic development groups in the country. During his time with the ITDA he was fund manager for the Technology Development Bridge fund, a $15 million seed-stage venture fund; managed the Corporate IP spin-out initiative and conducted all of the fee-based due diligence activities contacted by venture capital funds and angel investment groups in the Midwest.
