The Kansas Bioscience Authority is investing $581 million in bioscience researchers and businesses through funding for research and development; funds to match external capital sources; and direct financial assistance.
Because venture capital is the lifeblood of growing bioscience businesses, the KBA is investing $50 million in funds that will significantly increase the amount of venture capital available to Kansas companies and that will create a powerful magnet for private capital investment from around the country.
